2. What Data Is Private
Interpreter and translator profile data is divided into public and private information.
Public
First name, profile photo, languages, industries, rates, bio, location (city and country), availability, and verified status.
Private — never visible to clients
Last name, email address, WhatsApp number, LinkedIn profile, and payment details. This information is only accessible to Talksie administrators.

4. Platform Messages
All messages sent through the Talksie Platform are stored on Talksie's servers and owned by Talksie Inc. Messages may be reviewed by Talksie administrators for safety, dispute resolution, and Terms enforcement purposes. Users should not have an expectation of privacy in platform messages beyond what is stated in these Terms.
5. Prohibition on AI Training
Talksie does not use client or interpreter data, platform messages, or project materials to train, fine-tune, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning model. Users are likewise prohibited from using any data obtained through the Platform for AI or LLM training purposes.
6. Payment Data
All payment processing is handled by Stripe and Wise. Talksie does not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment information. Please review Stripe's and Wise's privacy policies for information on how they handle your payment data.
7. Data Sharing
Between Users
To facilitate services, basic profile information is shared between clients and professionals as necessary to complete projects.
With Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party providers including Firebase (Google) for hosting and database services, Stripe for payment processing, Wise for international payments, and Resend for email notifications. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.
Business Transfers
In the event of a merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

The Platform is for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete it immediately.
